The eight-day long majestic journey of Palace on Wheels begins on every Wednesday from September to April every year, chugging out gently out of Delhi into the heritage city of Rajasthan .
Day 01
Get board on the palace on wheels amidst a traditionally ceremonial welcome, accorded by colorfully attired men and women, at the Delhi Cantonment Railway Station, from where the journey starts.

Day 02
First stop is the Pink City , the heritage city of Rajasthan (Jaipur). At the entrance caparisoned elephants and strains of the shehnai will greet you, lunch will be at Rambagh Palace. Discover Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, Amber Fort, kanak Vrindavan, Jal Mahal, City Palace,  the silent sentinels of a glorious heritage city.

Day 03
Images of love, courage and velour of Maharana Pratap, scars of battles lost and won, that's Chittorgarh . Followed by a bus trip to the city of Lake Palaces, gardens, temples and Forts, Udaipur. Lunch will be held at the Lake Palace Hotel.

Day 04
Than 4 Day you will arrive  to the forested place of Sawai Madhopur and the beautiful 10th century fort of Ranthambore, surrounded by the Ranthambor National Park with a Project Tiger .

Day 05
Than 5 Day you will arrive  to Jaisalmer, the fairy tale town of Thar Desert is dominated by the sandstone fort of 99 Bastions. There are excellently carved havelis & Palaces and experience the renowned camel safaris & desert camps. Presently this place is also know for basin of oil & petroleum Gases.

Day 06
Than 6 Day you will arrive  to Jodhpur, the Meharangarh fort looks large over this 15th century city. Visit this magnificent fort and Jaswant Thada, the royal cenotaph. Lunch at the Umaid Bhavan Palace, the royal residence, a part of which is now a hotel. Depart for Bharatpur and Agra at 3:45 PM.

Day 07
Than 7 Day you will arrive  to Bharatpur is a wonderland of birds having the popular Keoladeo Ghana National Park at Bharatpur, the home of 300 species of Siberian and Chinese migratory birds. Then proceed towards a trip to some of the most exquisite monuments at Fatehpur Sikri and Agra, especially the symbol of eternal love, the Taj Mahal (Agra).

Day 08
Than 8 Day you will arrive to Delhi, with memories of the ethereal journey, closeted in your heart! Breakfast will be given on board and the journey will end from where it began.
